Pipe Up

300 Days of Music

During the Covid-19 pandemic, William created Pipe Up, a daily online organ performance designed to bring music, reflection and encouragement to audiences around the world during periods of lockdown.

Broadcast from the magnificent 2010 Harrison & Harrison organ of St Edmundsbury Cathedral, each performance featured a different work from the organ repertoire, introducing listeners to music spanning more than four centuries.

The project quickly attracted thousands of regular viewers and became a valued part of many people’s daily routine.
